Gender peculiarities of language usage

There are a lot of researches on the sphere of gender. Past researchers claimed that women and men are different in their speech from one another. One particularly popular question has been the extent to which men and women use language differently. This popularity stems, in part, from the fact that language is an inherently social phenomenon and can provide insight into how men and women approach their social worlds.Differences in the ways that men and women use language have long been of interest in the study of discourse. Despite extensive theorizing, actual empirical investigations have yet to converge on a coherent picture of gender differences in language. A significant reason is the lack of agreement over the best way to analyze language. Men referred more to object properties and impersonal topics. Although these effects were largelyconsistent across different contexts, the pattern of variation suggests that gender differences are larger on tasks that place fewer constraints on language use.Women and men are different not only in terms of their physical attributes but also in terms of their speech in communication.According their lifestyle, manner, behavior, knowledge each of them has speech. The aim of this case study is to uncover the differences in linguistic features in the speech of men and women. Some points are important to discuss that usage of words, phrases in the speech of both sides.  The differences in the speech used by men and women are mainly marked by their choice in language forms, topics of conversation, etc.  Previous studies on this issue believe that men may be more loquacious and directive as they use more nonstandard forms, talk more about sports, money, and business, and more frequently refer to time, space, quantity, destructive action, perceptual attributes, physical movements, and objects. On the other hand, women are often more supportive, polite, and expressive, talk more about home and family, and use more words implying feeling, evaluation, interpretation, and psychological state. Some of the distinct features in the speech of men are they talk more than women, ask less questions and converse mainly on competitive matters, teasing, sports, aggression and doing things. Within the social sciences, an increasing consensus of findings suggests that men, relative to women, tend to use language more for the instrumental purpose of conveying information; women are more likely to use verbal interaction for social purposes with verbal communication serving as an end in itself. Women focus on family, home, self, feelings and affiliation with others. However, findings by past researchers about which gender is more polite are rather contradicting. The present study replicates some of the major findings by yesteryear researchers. It is found that women use more polite forms of address than men, ask more questions and use more humours than men. Notably, men used slightly more of fillers, hedges and affirmatives than women. However, both genders are direct in their speech. It is also found that men’s conversations focus on the topic of doing things i.e. works of entrepreneurs whereas women centre on the topics of home, self, feelings and affiliation with others. Analyzing the linguistic forms used, women appear more polite than men as they prefer using their ethnic group terms of address when addressing and referring to one another. Usually men make simple and short sentences while speaking. They try to listen partners` opinion and to have a long conversation. But in the conversation of women, easy to meet sentences that describe their life, news about themselves etc. Indeed, this study provides some insight and understanding about the differences in men and women’s linguistics features in context which is made up of multi-racial society and rich in its varied cultures, customs, traditions, beliefs and religions.

Mothers` and Fathers` speech peculiarities

The differences between male and female speech styles have been a popular topic of study for a long time. Women use more non-standard words, intensive vocabulary, emphasize hyperbole in their speech. As studies women use more hedges and tag questions than men. Women`s speech style can facilitate the collaborative floor.                                                                                      Study provided important evidence that women speak differently to men with their children. Research shows that women show more sensitivity responsiveness with their children, while men are more directive because   “women`s language” such as hedges, minimal responses, tag question and fluctuating intonation. And fathers have more negative and directive speech to their children.                                                                                                     Experiment was conducted on a child and mother at home. When a mother was asked to have any activity mother kindly organized it for her child. So, she used kind and polite words. Mother always tried to involve her to the activity with different mimes or gestures. But when fathers were asked to play with their children, they act as commander and used “Are you doing this?”, when mothers use “Let me finish it”.                                                                             Mother`s speech is based on supportive speech. So, mothers support children with praise, as a good person who can to do everything. Mothers also can motivate their children with “shall we try …?”, “can you …?” sentences. In order to challenge children to act, mother become a very polite person.                                   These findings demonstrate that mother and father differ in their speech style when talking to their child. As other linguists have found, the mother plays the role of facilitator, using polite and encouraging behavior. Usually mothers make more demands and criticisms of the child than the father. This abnormal finding can be accounted for by the man`s domestic position as stepfather and thus illustrates how it is problematic to solely blame gender effects for linguistic variation between parents in a study. But it does not always happen the same in speech with parents and their children. It is sufficient to interpret the differences in mother`s speech, such as the large amount of tag questions and hedges purely as signs of weakness or deficiency. Study shows how gendered speech styles are created and performed depending on the context of the conversation. Many of the features of the parent`s speech seen in results are influenced by the child speech context.

Boshlang`ich ta`lim sifati va samaradorligini oshirishda innovatsion texnologiyalarga o`qituvchilarning yondoshuvi

Zamonamizning shiddat bilan o`sib borayotgan bir davrida “innovatsion texnologiyalar”  tushunchasini tilga olmasdan gap boshlash qiyin. “ Innovatsion” so`zi haqida gapirganda, unga qisqacha ta`rif berishni joiz deb topdim, Hozirgi vaqtda «Innovatsiya tushunchasi» juda keng qo‘llanilmoqda. Innovatsiya so‘zi inglizcha so‘z bo‘lib,  “innovatsion”- “yangilik kiritish” degan ma’noni bildiradi, ya’ni tizim ichki tuzilishini o‘zgartirish,  deb ta’riflanadi.  Innovatsiya  amaliyot va nazariyaning muhim qismi bo‘lib, ijtimoiy-madaniy  ob’ekt sifatlarini yaxshilashga yo‘naltirilgan ijtimoiy sub’ektlarning harakat tizimidir. Innovatsiyalar dolzarb, muhim ahamiyatga ega bo‘lib, bir tizimda shakllangan yangicha  yondashuvlardir. Ular tashabbuslar va yangiliklar asosida tug‘ilib, ta’lim mazmunini rivojlantirish uchun istiqbolli bo‘ladi. Shuningdek, umuman ta’lim tizimi rivojiga ijobiy ta’sir ko‘rsatadi. Innovatsiya — ma’lum bir faoliyat maydonidagi yoki ishlab chiqarishdagi texnologiya,  shakl va metodlar, muammoni yechish uchun yangicha yondashuv yoki yangi texnologik jarayonni qo‘llash, oldingidan ancha muvaffaqiyatga erishishiga olib kelishi ma’lum bo‘lgan oxirgi natijadir.

Use Cooperative Learning Groups to Engage Learners

Cooperative learning is rated as the number-one strategy to increase student achievement and to enhance self-esteem."How do I know what I think until I see what I say," is a paradoxical statement that somehow explains the thinking power of group work. As learners express their thoughts to their team partners, the thinking becomes visible to their peers and to themselves.
